Șantierul Termocentralei Mintia devalizat

A significant amount of copper cable was stolen from the Mintia Power Plant construction site, leading to a large-scale investigation in Hunedoara. Police conducted raids at 18 locations, suspecting 12 employees of involvement in multiple thefts and the trafficking of the cables. The total estimated loss exceeds 590,000 euros. The investigation began after a commercial company reported repeated thefts of copper cables stored on-site. Authorities are examining the roles of the suspects in the theft and potential resale of the cables. All suspects were taken for questioning, and the investigation continues under the supervision of a prosecutor.
