The construction of the Călinești ecoduct and mountain tunnels on the A1 Highway is progressing, impacting traffic and biodiversity. The Călinești ecoduct, one of Romania's largest, spans over 300 meters and will enhance ecological connectivity. Seven mountain tunnels are also under construction, with significant advancements at the Robești Tunnel. The A1 Highway, crucial for connecting Transylvania and Muntenia, is set for completion between 2027 and 2028.
