Samba, capibara ce a evadat dintr-o grădină zoologică acum șase luni, e de negăsit. Se știe doar că e în viață • Newsweek România

Samba, a capybara that escaped from Marwell Zoo six months ago, remains elusive but is confirmed to be alive. The one-year-old animal fled with her sister Tango, who was captured shortly after. Despite extensive searches, Samba has evaded capture, thriving in the rural Hampshire area. Zoo staff suspect she escaped through a small gap in a gate. Samba has been spotted several times, including near a pub and along the River Itchen, but efforts to capture her have been unsuccessful. Recent camera footage confirmed her survival, prompting the zoo to devise a plan to lure her with food. The goal is to capture her before winter sets in, as survival in the wild becomes increasingly difficult.
