A beauty salon in Bucharest was audited due to suspicious revenue declarations, leading to the payment of over 900,000 lei to the state budget. The audit revealed irregularities in income and expense reporting, including misclassified cash deposits and personal expenses not related to business activities. The salon had also improperly deducted VAT on two leased cars used for personal purposes. Additional tax obligations exceeding 537,000 lei were identified, and after settling the total amount, the administrator benefited from a non-punishment clause, avoiding criminal prosecution.
