Compared to July 2025, the net salary increased by 5.5%, but real purchasing power remains lower than last year due to inflation. The average gross salary was 9,709 lei, also up by 1.5%. Significant salary increases were noted in legal and accounting activities, while declines occurred in sectors like tobacco and telecommunications. The public sector saw a slight rise in health and social assistance salaries, but education experienced a decrease.
