Hossu emphasized that without a new law by December 31, the existing legal framework mandates this indexation. He expressed skepticism about the feasibility of adopting a new salary law by October 31, citing a lack of consensus and time constraints for a new government. Additionally, he urged the future government not to hinder the increase of the minimum wage, as it would impose further austerity on private sector workers.
