To meet updated criteria, the local administration hired a specialized consultant for 55,000 lei. This status is crucial for enhancing tourism visibility and accessing European funding. Săcele boasts around 1,500 accommodation places and attractions like the 7 Ladders Canyon and Bunloc ski area. The consultant will assess compliance with new regulations and recommend improvements if necessary. The revalidation file must be submitted by February 22, 2027, and will include a tourism development strategy and updated tourism monograph.
