Baltic group PLG has acquired the Romanian ticketing platform iaBilet from Resource Partners, marking a significant exit for the investment fund. The deal, signed on May 20, follows Resource Partners' earlier acquisition of a majority stake in iaBilet and BestMusic Concerts. PLG aims to enhance its ticketing technology and expand internationally, recognizing growth potential in Central and Eastern Europe. The current leadership of iaBilet will remain involved in the company’s development. Emil Ionescu, co-founder of iaBilet, expressed excitement about joining PLG's vision for growth.
