Romania is expected to reach approximately 90% gas storage capacity by the end of the year, exceeding the European average. Cristian Bușoi, Secretary of State in the Ministry of Energy, stated that by the end of September, storage levels would be around 79-80%. He emphasized the importance of exceeding minimum storage obligations to prepare for a challenging winter. Bușoi also discussed the impact of gas prices on electricity costs, noting fluctuations in the European market. He reassured that there are no significant price increases expected for household consumers in the near future, while future prices will depend on gas market conditions.
