„S-ar putea ca Sibiul să fi pierdut locul întâi”: semnal de alarmă la aproape 20 de ani de la Capitala Culturală Europeană
Sibiu, once a cultural leader in Romania, faces potential decline in its cultural vitality ranking. Experts call for a new evaluation of the city's cultural life, nearly 20 years after its designation as European Capital of Culture. Carmen Croitoru from INCFC highlighted that while Sibu has seen growth in tourism and cultural infrastructure, it may have lost its top position in cultural vitality. The INCFC is working on a new study to compare major cities, emphasizing the need for regular assessments of cultural consumption. Croitoru warns that without proactive measures, Sibu risks losing its visibility and status in the cultural landscape.
