The Ministry of Environment has launched a guide for prosumers seeking to install energy storage systems, with a budget of 400 million euros. Funding can cover up to 75% of project costs, capped at 15,000 lei. New storage systems must be compatible with existing photovoltaic systems and have a minimum capacity of 12 kWh. A scoring system will determine funding eligibility, focusing on personal contribution, storage capacity, and installed photovoltaic power. The program aims to enhance energy resilience in Romania.
