AUR and SOS Romania will file a joint constitutional complaint against a law allowing the government to settle debts to Pfizer. This marks their fourth collaborative effort to challenge decisions made by the dismissed government. The law, adopted by the Chamber of Deputies, enables the government to approve transactions, including settling disputes. AUR and SOS argue this provision is specifically designed for a €600 million debt to Pfizer for COVID vaccine doses. Their collaboration began after the dismissal of the Bolojan government, with previous complaints also submitted to the Constitutional Court.
