A German driver was caught speeding at 194 km/h on DEx16, exceeding the limit by 74 km/h, and fined 4,325 lei with a 120-day license suspension. Two other drivers were also fined for speeding on the same road, one at 180 km/h and another at 172 km/h. In total, Bihor police issued 217 traffic fines in 24 hours, with 129 for speeding, as part of the European ROADPOL 'Speed' campaign.
