Mihailo Tkaci, a journalist from Ukrainska Pravda, was detained in Vienna by armed men while investigating a former prosecutor. He and his cameraman were forcibly removed from their car and held at gunpoint. Tkaci reported being treated violently and initially believed they were kidnapped. After being taken to a police station, he was held in isolation without explanation for about two hours. The Austrian Interior Minister stated they were detained on suspicion of espionage. Tkaci was later released, while his cameraman remains in custody. The Ukrainian Embassy has sought clarification from Austrian authorities regarding the incident.
