Valentina, 28, was found dead in a suitcase in the Olt River, leading authorities to consider Vlad the main suspect. During his mother's birthday, Vlad was still abroad, having fled Romania and later arrested in Switzerland. A friend claimed he tried to persuade Vlad to surrender, revealing that Vlad had discarded Valentina's phone and had been sleeping on the streets while on the run. The case remains under investigation, and Vlad is presumed innocent until proven guilty.
