S-a abrogat articolul care trimitea acasă peste 100.000 de consilieri locali şi judeţeni. USR a mai încercat o dată să-l salveze pe Dominic Fritz
On Wednesday, the Legal Committee of the Parliament met to discuss amendments to a law that would prevent over 100,000 local and county councilors from losing their positions. The proposed amendment by USR, which aimed to remove a provision affecting Mayor Dominic Fritz, was rejected. The new article clarifies that only the position in which a conflict of interest occurred can be terminated, not subsequent mandates. This change aligns with a Constitutional Court decision, ensuring that new mandates remain valid despite past issues. An amendment from UDMR was also approved, further modifying the legislation.
