Rușii au pierdut în Donețk moaștele cneazului care ar fi trebuit ”să îi încurajeze” pe front. Au fost atacați și le-au abandonat
Russian soldiers reportedly lost fragments of the relics of Prince Dmitry Donskoy during their retreat from Lyman, Donetsk region. These relics were sent to the front to boost morale among troops, with Putin having prayed at them. The Russian Orthodox Church denies these claims, calling them hostile fabrications. In July, restorers opened Donskoy's sarcophagus, and parts of his relics were intended for Russian soldiers in Ukraine. This incident coincides with a significant Ukrainian offensive in the Donetsk region, where Ukrainian forces have reportedly recaptured territory and taken Russian soldiers prisoner.
