Rusia și Coreea de Nord inaugurează primul pod rutier

Russia and North Korea have inaugurated their first road bridge over the Tumen River, enhancing their strategic partnership. The bridge, located near the historic Friendship Bridge, adds a new land route for transport between Moscow and Pyongyang. Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin emphasized that this infrastructure expansion will boost cooperation in various sectors. The project, discussed for years, began construction in April 2022 and was agreed upon during President Putin's visit to North Korea in 2024. The partnership has deepened, with North Korea supplying military support to Russia amid the Ukraine conflict.
