Rusia și Coreea de Nord au inaugurat un pod peste râul Tumen. Armele vor fi transferate direct și rapid • Newsweek România
A new road bridge over the Tumen River has been opened between Russia and North Korea, facilitating rapid military logistics. The bridge, named after a Soviet officer, enhances direct transport routes for arms and ammunition. Previously, the two countries were connected only by a railway bridge and air links, limiting the speed of goods transfer. The construction began in 2025 under a strategic partnership agreement between Putin and Kim Jong Un. Relations have strengthened significantly since Russia's invasion of Ukraine in 2022, with North Korea reportedly sending troops to assist Russia.
