Russia has rejected all proposals to revive the Black Sea grain corridor, leaving 30 million tons of agricultural products stranded in Ukraine. Turkey and Egypt have urged Russia to stabilize the situation, but negotiations have failed. The Black Sea region is crucial for global food markets, with Russia and Ukraine accounting for a quarter of global grain exports. Current trade flows are at historic lows, and Ukraine's agricultural sector, which generates over half of its export revenue, is struggling to find alternative routes for its products.
