He noted that the EU is struggling to fill underground gas storage, which could lead to significant price increases. Despite previous decisions to reduce reliance on Russian gas due to the Ukraine conflict, some European states still receive limited amounts. The EU aims for complete energy independence by 2027, focusing on alternative sources like Norway and the US.
