Rusia îngheață dobânda cheie la 14% din cauza inflației

The Central Bank of Russia has kept its key interest rate at 14%, citing rising fuel costs due to drone attacks and production cuts as inflationary pressures. Annual inflation reached 6.3% as of September 7, with expectations of a decline to 4% next year. The bank noted that volatile price components, particularly fuel, have significantly influenced inflation dynamics. Governor Elvira Nabiullina warned that fuel shortages are impacting the broader economy, leading to increased import needs and further inflationary effects. The last rate cut occurred on July 24, when it was reduced from 14.25% to 14%.
