Rusia dezvoltă un răspuns la Starlink. Mai mulți sateliți Rassvet au fost lansați pe orbită • Newsweek România

Russia has launched another batch of Rassvet satellites to create an alternative to global satellite internet systems like Starlink. The recent launch included 16 satellites, which successfully separated from the launch vehicle and established communication with the mission control center. The Rassvet project aims to enhance Russia's independence in communications and data transmission, with plans for hundreds of satellites in low Earth orbit. The first phase targets over 250 satellites by 2027, with a goal of around 900 by 2035. This launch follows earlier demonstration missions to test the technology.
