Rusia caută avioane de pasageri în Vietnam

Russia is seeking passenger planes from Vietnam as its Western fleet faces operational challenges due to sanctions. The Russian Transport Minister proposed a wet lease arrangement, which includes aircraft, crew, maintenance, and insurance. Vietnam is considering the offer, but it may pose risks for its airlines, which primarily operate Airbus and Boeing aircraft. Following the Ukraine invasion, Russia registered over 400 Western aircraft, but sanctions have disrupted access to necessary parts and services. Currently, about 20% of Russian commercial aircraft are inactive, with the situation more severe for non-Aeroflot companies. Additionally, fuel supply restrictions at major Russian airports complicate operations further, and discussions are underway for a passenger tax to fund domestic aircraft purchases, which could lead to higher ticket prices.
