Rusia anunță primul zbor al unui avion de pasageri de serie construit fără componente occidentale

The MC-21-310, the first series passenger aircraft built entirely with Russian components, completed its inaugural flight, marking a significant step in Russia's aviation industry. This aircraft aims to reduce reliance on Western technology following sanctions. The flight lasted 1 hour and 23 minutes, testing the aircraft's stability and systems. Approximately half of the required certification flights have been completed, with deliveries to Aeroflot planned after certification. The MC-21 is designed to compete with Airbus A320neo and Boeing 737 MAX, reflecting Russia's efforts to revive its commercial aviation sector.
