Rusia acuză puternice atacuri cibernetice în a doua zi a alegerilor legislative • Newsweek România

Russia reported significant cyberattacks targeting its electronic voting system and internet lines during the second day of parliamentary elections. These elections are the first since the Ukraine invasion began in 2022, aiming to renew all 450 seats in the State Duma. The head of the Central Election Commission stated that the electoral system faced continuous cyberattacks, but insisted that the situation was under control. Additionally, there were attempts to sabotage internet lines in the Far East, which were quickly restored. Voter turnout was notably high, with over 31% participating by Saturday morning, partly due to the introduction of online voting.
