Rusia: 23 de ani de închisoare pentru spionaj în Polonia

A Russian man, Georgy Pirogov, was sentenced to 23 years in prison for high treason involving espionage and aiding Poland against Russia's security. He was also fined 800,000 rubles. Pirogov had moved to Georgia after Russia's invasion of Ukraine and disappeared during a business trip to Uzbekistan, later reappearing in a Moscow detention center. The FSB claims he contacted Polish intelligence and gathered classified information about Russian defense systems, as well as transferring cryptocurrency to the Ukrainian army and supplying ammunition from Poland to Ukraine.
