Rules, cel mai vechi restaurant din Londra, devine monument național, după ce a fost donat organizației National Trust

The historic Rules restaurant in London, established in 1798, has been donated to the National Trust with the condition of continuing its traditional game dishes. The restaurant has hosted numerous celebrities and remains the oldest in the city. Current owner John Mayhew, the third proprietor in over two centuries, ensured the restaurant's legacy by donating it valued at £11 million, prohibiting resale. Management will be handled by Ricky McMenemy, while the National Trust aims to promote the restaurant's rich history without interfering in its kitchen operations. Rules has maintained its original decor and menu, featuring classic British dishes.
