Roxana Mînzatu lansează „un nou instrument", Alianțele Școlilor Europene: Să fie deschise copiilor români pentru care o asemenea experiență pare imposibilă

Roxana Mînzatu, the Executive Vice-President of the European Commission, announced the launch of the European School Alliances program aimed at enhancing basic skills among students in the EU, including Romania. This initiative will be part of the Education Package to be released in November. The program seeks to utilize EU and national funds more effectively for cooperation between schools and educational authorities. A pilot project funded by Erasmus+ has already begun to prepare for a broader implementation. Mînzatu emphasized the importance of inclusivity, ensuring that disadvantaged students also benefit from these opportunities. The program has a budget of 20 million euros for this year, with Romania participating through two projects involving ten schools from Romania, Greece, and Turkey.
