Rompetrol Rafinare is modernizing five storage tanks at the Petromidia refinery to enhance operational flexibility and safety. This initiative is part of a multi-year investment program aimed at improving operational efficiency and maintaining high performance standards. The projects include increasing storage capacity for raw materials and petroleum products by 20%. A distillate tank has already been reconstructed, increasing its capacity from 5,000 m³ to 6,000 m³. The use of hydraulic cranes in construction is a notable innovation, enhancing safety and efficiency. Since 2007, over 60 tanks have been modernized across the company's refineries, which processed significant amounts of raw materials in 2026, with a large portion directed to the domestic market.
