Rompetrol Rafinare investește 27 milioane de lei într-o centrală fotovoltaică și un sistem de stocare la Vega Ploiești

Rompetrol Rafinare plans to develop a 4.8 MW solar power plant and a 9 MWh energy storage system at its Vega Ploiești refinery, with an investment of nearly 27 million lei. The project will be funded partly by the Modernization Fund and is expected to be completed by December 31, 2028. The solar plant aims to enhance energy efficiency, increase renewable energy use, and reduce carbon emissions, producing over 6,200 MWh annually for self-consumption. This initiative is projected to cut greenhouse gas emissions by over 3,800 tons of CO2 each year.
