Rompetrol construieşte o centrală fotovoltaică la Petromidia

Rompetrol Rafinare plans to build a 9.4 MW solar power plant at the Petromidia refinery, with a total investment of 44 million lei. The project will receive 14 million lei in non-reimbursable funding from the Modernization Fund, while Rompetrol will contribute 30 million lei. The plant is expected to generate over 9,800 MWh of renewable energy annually for the refinery's own consumption. The project is set to be completed by December 31, 2028, and is part of ongoing efforts to enhance energy efficiency and reduce environmental impact at the refinery. Additionally, Rompetrol is developing another solar plant with a capacity of 4.8 MW at the Vega Ploiești refinery.
