Romii din Brașov învață cum să se protejeze de denigrările care îi vizează în online / ”Investiția în educația tinerilor înseamnă o comunitate mai tolerantă și mai unită”

The Roma Association from Făgăraș has initiated a project aimed at educating young Roma on how to protect themselves from online hate. The project, titled 'Without Hate. Together for United Communities,' focuses on preventing discrimination and extremism against the Roma minority. In partnership with the Făgăraș City Hall, it will involve around 200 youths from Făgăraș and six other localities in Brașov County. Project coordinator Ionuț Androne emphasizes the importance of teaching youth to differentiate between fake news and real information, recognize hate speech, and protect themselves from online abuse. Over three months, participants will engage in thematic camps, training courses, debates, conferences, podcasts, and public awareness campaigns.
