Romgaz și-a majorat profitul net cu 3,4% în primul semestru, dar producția de gaze și energia electrică au scăzut

Romgaz reported a consolidated net profit of 1.736 billion lei in H1 2026, despite a decrease in revenue and gas production. Investments reached 2.55 billion lei, primarily for the Neptun Deep project. Revenue fell by 4.7% to 4.302 billion lei, with gas sales down by 10.04%. The company produced 2.401 billion cubic meters of gas, a 3.39% decline from the previous year. The national gas consumption increased by about 3%, with Romgaz supplying 25.8 TWh, covering 43.3% of the national demand. The electricity production dropped significantly by 46.71%. Overall, profit margins remained high, with a net profit margin of 44.71%.
