The interim Prime Minister, Ilie Bolojan, emphasized the importance of restarting operations at Azomureș, which will require several months of preparation. The plant is projected to operate at full capacity by the first quarter of next year, potentially reducing Romania's dependence on imported fertilizers. This move is seen as a way to utilize domestic gas resources and stabilize agricultural costs amid fluctuating international gas prices.
