The company has requested approval from the Ministry of Energy to hire necessary staff for its supply department. The director stated that they plan to begin supplying gas to residential and small non-residential customers after the expiration of the emergency ordinance that regulates gas prices. However, the company faces challenges due to insufficient personnel in the supply department, which was established in 2025. Romgaz aims to launch its first offers in December 2026, but the actual supply will depend on timely administrative and technical preparations. The current regulatory mechanism sets a fixed price for gas sales to households, and Romgaz's entry could introduce significant competition in the market.
