Romgaz angajzează KPMG să vadă ce a cumpărat la Azomureş

Romgaz has contracted KPMG for 440,000 lei to assess the fair value of assets and liabilities from its acquisition of Azomureș. This move is part of a complex takeover process of Romania's largest fertilizer producer, which faces significant accounting risks. The total transaction value is estimated at 69 million euros, funded entirely by Romgaz. The company aims to ensure a stable market for its natural gas while supporting a crucial industrial pillar for Romanian agriculture. Following the completion of formalities, Romgaz is now focused on integrating Azomureș's operations and preparing for production resumption, expected in spring 2027.
