ROMARM may undergo a reorganization to become an integrated industrial holding, grouping subsidiaries by activity area, as proposed by the Ministry of Economy. The current structure limits coordination and the parent company's stake is below 20% in most subsidiaries. The proposal includes creating specialized industrial clusters and a dual management system. This reorganization is part of broader reforms aimed at monitoring investments, reducing mineral import dependency, and promoting Romanian tourism.
