Românul condamnat pentru atacurile incendiare legate de Keir Starmer, expulzat din Marea Britanie
Stanislav Carpiuc, a Romanian citizen born in Ukraine, has been expelled from the UK after being sentenced for planning arson attacks on properties linked to Keir Starmer. Carpiuc, 28, received a two-year prison sentence in June. The UK Home Office condemned the attacks as heinous and emphasized the serious consequences for those lured by foreign promises. The incidents occurred in May 2025, during Starmer's tenure as Prime Minister, involving multiple arson cases. Carpiuc was arrested at Luton Airport while attempting to flee to Romania. Another accomplice, Roman Lavrinovici, was sentenced to seven years for his role, while a third defendant was acquitted. Investigations revealed the attacks were part of a broader sabotage campaign allegedly linked to Russia.
