The Ministry of Finance is launching a new edition of the Tezaur program, allowing Romanians to invest in state bonds with non-taxable annual interest rates of 6.50%, 7%, and 7.50%. The program runs from October 5 to November 6, 2026, with bonds available for purchase online and at Treasury units. Investors can make multiple subscriptions and cancel them during the subscription period. The funds raised will support budget deficit financing and public debt refinancing. A guide for a fully digital investment experience has also been prepared.
