Romanian citizens can travel to 178 destinations without a visa, according to the interim Minister of Internal Affairs. This marks the highest position for Romania in the Henley Passport Index, now ranked 11th. The minister attributes this achievement to national efforts, European integration, and international partnerships. Enhanced security measures and cooperation with European partners have also played a crucial role in this progress.
