Many consumers report dissatisfaction with product quality and discrepancies between online images and actual items. However, 84% still prioritize low prices. The tax aims to encourage compliance among sellers within the EU, and consumers can avoid it by checking the origin of their packages. Approximately 15,000 packages from China are received daily by one courier company.
