Românii nu mai sunt interesați de locurile de muncă din străinătate. Cererea, cea mai mică din ultimii 10 ani • Newsweek România
Romanians are increasingly less interested in jobs abroad, with applications at a decade low despite high local job-seeking activity. Less than 55,000 applications for foreign jobs have been recorded this year, marking a 33% decrease from last year. The majority of job seekers prefer local opportunities, particularly those aged 25-35. Germany and the Netherlands remain popular destinations for those considering relocation, often for seasonal work. Financial factors and the rising cost of living in Western countries contribute to this trend, as many Romanians now find better opportunities locally or with international companies without relocating.
