Românii cumpără online mai mult decât austriecii. Piața de e-commerce ar putea trece, anul acesta, de pragul de 13 miliarde de euro - Economica.net
Romania's B2C e-commerce is projected to reach €12.9 billion in 2025, marking a 10% increase from the previous year. This growth positions Romania as the largest e-commerce market in Eastern Europe, with a significant rise from €6.1 billion in 2021. The report anticipates further growth to €13.5 billion in 2026, driven by a high number of internet users and a relatively low percentage of online shoppers. Currently, 60% of Romanians shop online, indicating room for growth as internet penetration is high. The e-commerce sector comprises 65% goods and 35% services, with digital payment methods gaining popularity. However, local companies face competitive challenges in a borderless market, necessitating fair competition conditions.
