Românii au redus consumul de energie cu până la 300 MW. Bolojan: „Este foarte important”
This week, energy consumption in Romania decreased by 200-300 megawatts during evening hours, according to interim Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan. He expressed gratitude to citizens, companies, and institutions for their responsible response to the energy deficit amid ongoing drought conditions. Bolojan emphasized the importance of reducing consumption to ensure sufficient electricity production and imports. Despite a day of high temperatures that increased demand, overall consumption remained lower throughout the week. He noted that current consumption levels are between 7,300 and 7,700 megawatts, compared to 7,700-8,000 megawatts in a normal year.
