Românii au cheltuit mai puțin pe restaurante, saloane și divertisment. INS: Serviciile pentru populație sunt în scădere de 10 luni
Romanians are cutting back on spending for restaurants and recreational activities, with a reported 8.9% decline in market services in May compared to last year. This marks the tenth consecutive month of decline in this sector. The most significant drop was seen in gambling and recreational activities, which fell by 20.5%. However, interest in vacation packages through travel agencies increased by 27.1%. Some sectors, like tourism services and textile cleaning, showed positive growth. The overall decline in consumption is attributed to significant price increases in the hospitality sector, with prices rising by up to 14.7%. Despite this, there was a slight 0.9% increase in market services from April to May 2026.
