Românii au cheltuit mai mult pe alimente, dar au redus achizițiile de Electro-IT

In the first half of 2026, Romanians spent 68 billion lei on FMCG and Electro-IT products, reflecting a 3.2% increase despite inflation and reduced purchasing power. Sales in the FMCG sector rose by 5.2%, while the Electro-IT market faced a decline of 7.5%. Consumers are increasingly opting for affordable brands and promotional offers, adapting their shopping habits to economic pressures. The share of private label products in FMCG sales reached 21.9%, indicating a shift towards budget-friendly options. Online sales also grew significantly, with a 17.5% increase compared to the previous year.
