Romania ranks third among the most popular vacation destinations for Bulgarians, following Greece and Turkey. In August, over 70,000 Bulgarians visited Romania, contributing to a 5.2% increase in their international travels compared to last year. The majority of these trips were for vacations, while visits to family and business trips also accounted for significant portions. Despite a slight decline in foreign tourists visiting Bulgaria, Romanian tourists remain the largest group, highlighting a reciprocal tourism trend between the two countries.
