România vrea să finanțeze un hub deep-tech până la finalul anului
Romania aims to secure funding for a deep-tech hub by the end of the year, enhancing connections to the European Innovation Council. The initiative, led by interim Minister Dragoș Pîslaru, focuses on supporting deep-tech startups and their intermediaries. Two funding instruments will be established, one for general communities and another specifically for deep-tech projects. Pîslaru emphasizes the need for Romania to shift from traditional infrastructure projects to investments in technology and competitiveness, particularly in AI and deep-tech. He warns that without this shift, Romania risks falling behind economically.
