Romania's interim Foreign Minister Oana Țoiu presented the country's activities during the UN General Assembly's high-level week, focusing on multilateral engagement, international law, and sustainable development. Romania held over 20 bilateral meetings to strengthen relations and promote economic and security objectives. Key discussions included enhancing Romania's profile in the International Organization of La Francophonie and addressing security in the Black Sea region. Romania also supported Ukraine's resilience and advocated for humanitarian access in Gaza. Additionally, the country aims to elevate its partnership with Armenia and enhance cooperation with Singapore in artificial intelligence. Romania is committed to ensuring freedom of navigation in the Strait of Hormuz and actively participating in UN agency projects.
